Our Story
We’re Bryant and Aliona Bonano, the husband-and-wife team behind Imperium Heating & Cooling. We’re happy to share a vision that drives everything we do: delivering HVAC solutions that enhance property value and provide long-term comfort for the people who rely on them.
Bryant’s journey in HVAC began at sixteen with a summer job at a heating and cooling plant in Ohio—an opportunity guided by his father that sparked a deep interest in mechanical systems and laid the foundation for a lifelong career in the trades. After earning his electrical degree through South Tech’s technical program, he worked as a licensed electrician in Illinois before returning to St. Louis in the early 2000s. There, he gained hands-on experience installing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems—work that reignited his early passion for mechanical systems. Along the way, he built lasting relationships with local developers and property managers, earning a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and integrity.
In 2012, we founded Imperium with a clear purpose: to provide honest, high-quality HVAC service rooted in trust, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to the city we’re proud to call home. From fieldwork to behind-the-scenes operations, we work together to ensure every project is completed with care, precision, and a standard of excellence our clients can rely on—start to finish.
